Reading chiropractor Dr Simon Bird killed himself drunk after arguing with his children

A successful chiropractor who wanted to give up work at the age of 47 killed himself while drunk, an inquest heard. Father-of-two Simon Bird owned five practices but became disillusioned by his career and longed for a return to the 'simple life'.
